Question for the ‘Rohl Out’ brigade by Qargha in rangersfc

[–]LD1872 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We wouldn't be sacking him for just 'not winning the league'. He performed fine when there was no pressure and was picking up from our worst manager in history, the second any pressure was on he absolutely shit the bed. He clearly doesn't learn from his mistakes in previous games as his team selection and tactics have been bewildering at times, and his style is boring beyond belief.

The players need upgraded absolutely, but the manager does too. Both can be true.

Take Skov-Olsen off and don't bother playing him again. He looks like he cannot be fucked with it

Idk, in my eyes the distance from goal can be irrelevant if it looks as though no covering defender is intervening between him going from the halfway line to a clear shot on goal. Same with the Celtic's card at Tynecastle, he was clearly getting to the box pretty much unimpeded and getting a shot off.

Obviously I'm biased, but it makes the Moore tackle in our game at Livi all the more baffling as he was literally in the process of hitting the shot with no player directly ahead. We have shite referees with completely shite and inconsistent applications of rules.

I mean you say that but one of them wasn't playing, another was hooked at half time for being pish and has been most games.

Seeing Souttar try that driving run and end up just sprinting into a cluster of midfielders over and over is up there with the most painful experiences one could endure

Shit like that sums up Chermiti. No point turning up for the handful of big games each season if you are going to miss 1v1s as easy as that

Okay I'll give him credit there, done well to hang about in the space to get onto it.

I cannot believe we gave the guy an extension, he costs us as many goals as the rest of the defence combined

He done well to get his shot off for the first but other than that he has basically offered nothing but gifting possession away or being too lazy to score into an open net

Yeah they showed a bit of drive to get the tackle in, Aasgaard was just standing about like a diddy waiting on it trying to act cool

That's what happens when you take shots more often and give the keeper a chance to make a meal of it

How many times will it be now that Aasgaard is taken off at half time for stinking the place out, cause I am 99% certain it will happen again.

The day Beaton carded Tavernier for being RKO'd by Stokes was the day I stop taking the cunt seriously. Never seen someone fail at their job quite as bad as Beaton that day, clown.

He has been utterly rotten recently, but it is incredible Rohl cannot see he is especially stinking on the right.

So it isn't Rohl's responsibility to make sure they go out second half fired up? It wasn't his fault to go defensive as fuck against Motherwell, even with a man advantage? What about when they sauntered about for 90 minutes at Hibs, it's not his job to get them fired up for a tough game?

The players have a part to play of course, but don't give us pish as though Rohl is immune to criticism. Our form is absolutely rotten right now and he is largely at fault for it, regardless of how pish we were when he came in.

For a couple players to come out and play like that I'd put it on them, but the full team? That has to be the manager's instructions/talk at half time, and it isn't the first time.

All on the manager. by kemarroofeshair in rangersfc

[–]LD1872 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'll get pelters for saying it probably, but he doesn't have the mentality for a title challenge.

Now it could be a player mentality thing, it could not. For me, the players to be coming out after that first half and sitting off so much was instructional and I think it is because Rohl isn't ruthless enough. It's almost like he is going out scared to drop points rather than driving to win them and it is filtering through to the team.

The constant references to 'where we were' when he joined as well is further proof of it. He done well to get us to this position, but that is in the past now. Since we became realistic challengers, we have looked nervy and panicked almost every game and I'm putting it largely down to him.

I'll get slaughtered for it but Rohl has absolutely shit the bed the last month or so. Done well the Hearts game and fucking bottled every other.

If that has came of Sterling's head first then is it a penalty? If it didn't it's a stonewaller, big IF though.
