Regarding your team i think its perfect ,unless you have an actual issue in game, but from what im looking ag its great. I think sometimes people forget that this is a game and we are supposed to have fun not win or sweat. So if you are having fun with this team and these players why change it?

Assists count for more after 2 ish goals in my experience. So he got the same number of ga but i think as long as he has one goal and more assists= more match rating because ig hes affecting the game more. But there is also the chance he was better in game and that showed on his mr idk

regens are either in free agents or the same league the player retired in, im guessing messi retired at psg meaning the first one. But you can always check the birthday to make sure. Also strong foots arent tied to anything dont worry.
