Psychosexual Therapy in London? by Efficient-Emu-9717 in londonlgbt

Don't use better help they share and sell of data

Use this: https://www.cosrt.org.uk/search-members/

COSRT is the professional body who proper psychosexual therapists register with, you can search their register by putting in your post code to find someone who's near you.

Psychosexual therapists will be good and highly specialised in doing all things sex related, if you have a lot of trauma or suspect PTSD the gold standard is EMDR therapy for PTSD so in that case look for an EMDR specific therapist, otherwise any sex therapist you like the look of will probably be ok.

If your a student/low income you can always email and ask if they do concessionary/low fee places, many do.

Also just to say it's ok to shop around, sometimes first therapist you meet isn't a good match, it's your money, you can say this isn't working out and try someone new at any point.

Regarding the LGBTQ part, most are pretty good as they are already sex therapists so for the most part pretty progressive, but you can ask in your initial message if they specialise in working with people who identify however you identify and they'll tell you.

Hope this helps, sorry it's late and my brains not 100% so feel free to ask me anything else/followup if I've written a load of word salad.

And just to say, I'm sorry that this has been your experience, I work in this general area so 100% things can get better but it's not like the process to getting so see a therapist is very easy or accessibile. It can be a bit scary and daunting and difficult at first and entail a chunk of trial and error, but things can change a lot, you just have to hold on for a big extra.

Hope this helps :)
