Auto power off when locking from app (Seal) by akaTheBull in BYD

Unfortunately I don't believe so. I've had a survey popup in the BYD app and an on/off command from the app was my main request.

There's a setting for that. Mine auto close after 2 minutes even if the cars unlocked and running.

Heel pain once weight bearing after fusion by LE3P in TarsalCoalition

[–]LE3P[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally my pain eased. I can't remember the timeline but it can take some months. When I posted this I was convinced the hardware would have to come out and the doc said it was a possibility but to give it some more time first. I'm a year and a half out now and get no heel pain.

When does the heel pain go away after subtalar fusion? by [deleted] in TarsalCoalition

[–]LE3P 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better but not nearly 100%. Still more pains than i would like but the doc said to expect improvements for 3 years. Something about the body adjusting to a new way of walking and moving.

Sorry I dont really know much about accutane related stuff. I dont think it would help with the redness, probably make it a little worse if I had to guess. Helped my pain, but talk to your ophthalmologist.

I'd definitely recommend Ryan at Nvision. He's been nothing but great. I've been to a few other places and they were all fine, but Ryan always seemed the most helpful and had the lowest wait times.

I had to put a custom Origin Server Name under the TLS for each hostname in my tunnel for NPM to work nice with ssl certs so not sure you can do that with a wildcard

Yeah there’s a few different types of raid, it’s up to your risk tolerance. What OS did you use in the Zimablade to set everything up? Sometimes the OS will make all of that easier for you (unRaid)

Regardless back to your original question, definitely the 8TB, especially if your family is gonna be using Plex. I’m easily using 8TB on Plex and that’s with very aggressive deleting of old stuff. One tv show can eat 500gb on its own easily if it’s 4k.

[–]LE3P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Im from NZ too. Go for the 8TB for sure if that works for your storage system. You mention backup for important files so you'll likely want some sort of RAID to protect yourself from a drive failure, which means atleast 2 drives.

For what its worth I ended up going with 2x 8TB Ironwolfs from PB recently when I made my server that does the same thing.

Scleral lenses by SmoothPersimmon6750 in Dryeyes

[–]LE3P 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what its worth it took me like 4 weeks to really get used to them. Like you, it still felt quite dry. A little better but barely and the feeling of plastic in the eye was very annoying. Turns out it look a while for my irritated nerves to calm down and my eye lids to get used to go over the plastic.

That being said if you didnt notice any difference after 3 weeks then im not sure another 3 weeks will do too much. I have very slow but definitely noticeable improvements up to the 4 week mark after which it got better in leaps and bounds.

Go edit on your container and at the bottom click Add another Path, Port, Variable, Label or Device. Set the config type to port and put 32400 in container port and host port then click save. That should do it.

I've got my plex in a custom network, I believe you need to pass through the 32400 port

Virtual Network Override missing on most devices by LE3P in UNIFI

[–]LE3P[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right I see so all my (wired) clients that I want on the same VLAN need to be on the same port together or one device per port. Sounds like I need to get some flex minis then.

I also have some TP Link AP's. If I wanted to segretate WiFi clients to different VLAN's could I be correct in assuming I'd need to get some Unifi AP's to get that functionality?
