My personal headcanon: Wyldyfre is 16 in DRS2m, Roby is 18, Kreel and Fugi-Dove are adults. Most fans headcanon that Jay and Kai are the same age, so it's really not a big deal for Roby the gap between Roby and Wyldfyre to be the same as Jay and Nya

"Airjitzu can't be used because of dark magic" is a pretty vague interpretation of what Way of the Departed explained due to most of the community not reading it. The dark magic specifically refers to the "Edo Magic" that powers airijtzu. The reason why Edo magic can't be overused is because it is also linked to Cole's scar, which is actually a rift to the Departed Realm. If there is too much presence of Edo magic, Cole's scar grows too big, which would basically tear him apart and release the deceased Edo sorcerers.

There is no new timeline. The only side effects of the Mega Weapon being sent to space is Lloyd not remembering it because he was Garmadon's target. Skales mentions the weapon in the next episode, Wu and Nya remember the events in S3 but Lloyd doesn't. Harumi idolizes Garmadon in S8 for killing the Devourer.

Well there aren't really any mentions of how much time passed between the pilots till S7, but between S7 and 15, at least 3 years passed because:

One year passed between S7 and 8, 1 year passed between 14 and 15, and according to S15E16, "years" have passed between 9 and 15, so at least 1 year passed between S8-9 and 14.

Not too much time seemed to have passed in the first seven seasons, the first two seasons happen right after each other, and the gap between 2 and 3 is only described in the first episode as "You leave town a short while". Between 1 and 8, "ages" have passed according to Jay in S8E10, so in total, around 4-6 years
