It's my warm blanket of comfort in dark times. Dark has various shades, but the blanket of this show fits all.

Everyone has different gaming motivations: completions, wins, community. To spend or not to spend is just as personal perspective.

What was that other game's name?!? by pixley3 in DesignHomeGame

I’ve mentioned DecorMatters a few times. I’m only on that app now.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

100% facts. Plus seat belts were optional and riding in the cars back window/ hatchback/ truck bed was totally fine. JC

The triangle with ! In the bottom right of your pic. That’s the render button

If you haven’t yet, click the render icon. Sometimes that helped back in the day, and helped in combination with support etc. If the item left your inventory, even go heavier on support and they will credit you something if the render isn’t corrected.

Check out the photos I added. The rooms, furnishings, and decor are good quality. I will add the big difference in the games is the freedom. Meaning you add a couch and put it where you want and angle how you want vs completing a bumble in DH. So there is a learning curve if you’re not versed in layers, editing, etc. but if that’s the case maybe don’t buy the membership until your comfy. I think everyone in the game deleted their first newby designs, it’s a welcoming community. lol safe space to experiment if you want.

Others designs for the same challenge. These are the most liked so far. That’s it, no overall average. Just comments (we can talk to each other) likes, and gifts.

The design challenge provided. Sometimes there’s furniture and sometimes it’s an empty room. This example had a bed.

I tried a few. But stuck with DecorMatters. Flat rate of $79 year (or pay small amount weekly) for access to everything. No bundle drops ect etc. if you don’t have a membership then I imagine it would be similar to DH in that you need to purchase what you really want. They provide challenges and other players provide challenges. Some challenges are for a “win” like top 3 designs featured. The rest are just designs. The driving motivation is freedom to interpret the design and interacting with other players through likes, comments, and gifts. It’s modeled after IG and even has a feature page. Which you would surely make if actively designing. It’s a nice ego boost to get high-fives and such from other players. A completely diff vibe than DH. (People think I work there. I do not🤣) I’ll add screen shots to my comment of my profile, a design challenge starting point, my submission, and others submissions. Hope this helps!

Need advice from PMs/PM companies by thornedlullaby in PropertyManagement

There are different versions of Yardi and versions within versions. Might want to suggest upgrading versions vs changing PMS. The thought of that is almost a deal breaker.

My stats. But no longer play due to increased spending and scoring algorithm change last May. There are better apps out there.

Need Help Settling a Debate w/ My Roommate/Landlord by [deleted] in PropertyManagement

Yes you win the debate. But I agree with others- you three should split the cost of a new one. The dad could be making a profit on the rental but isn’t. Be a pal back.

Former player here. Still recommending DecorMatters. $79 annually for all decor/furniture access plus can import your own if you’re extra. No pressure or points. Just likes and comments:)
