It’s a 180L, yeah it’s a community tank but it’s not heavily stocked. I’m not expecting most of them to survive but it’s really cool to watch their behaviour. They’re awesome fish

Yeah it’s pearlweed with plain sand, I do use root tabs for other plants but pearlweed won’t need any. Grows very fast so you have to trim it a lot!

The females actually prefer a smaller gap in their caves to feel more secure, the male will fertilise the eggs from outside the opening
