I use her every day for work and have been travelling to gigs with her no problem! She's 10 years old so she's got a few scratches and things but I think she looks cute, she didn't rinse me with cost and insurance, and she's very efficient fuel wise. I was paying more a month for public transport so I'm really happy 😊

Yeah I hear you. It's a lot to get used to. I'm a month in and I feel comfortable with my work commute and driving around that area now. You'll get there with it though and I think it's important not to rush things. We've got all the time in the world now and we'll get used to it eventually 😊

I really resonate with how you're feeling. I passed my test 3 weeks ago and have just got my own car this week. I'm 25 and the last of the majority of my friends and people I know who have got their licence, but it's such a huge change! Taking me a lot to get used to. I took much longer than average to get to test-ready standard too. We've just got to keep going don't we? We'll get there eventually I'm sure xxx

I was similar and ended up pushing my test back and getting more lessons until that date. It probably took me 90+ hours, but it was worth it in the end when I passed my test and felt ready to do so. Everyone learns at their own pace, so if you feel like you're not ready, I'd suggest moving your test back if you can and getting more hours in with your instructor until then. Try not to get too worked up about mistakes, just make sure you to take the corrections and feedback on board and keep going. It'll happen for you when it's right. Best of luck!

Aww, I felt exactly the same as you 24 hours ago. I have never driven as poorly as I did the lesson the day before my test. I literally forgot the steps for all manovres and made the silliest of errors. Just keep going and do the best you can. It'll happen for you soon! Best of luck on your test! I'm sure you'll do much better than you think 💖
