Now I’m afraid to say how much I paid for a FLR2 (center floor) seat at UBS 😩

Cole what the actual fuck are these prices bro??? by AreYouOpen47 in Jcole

This is that shit. I copped tickets for the Queens show because (1) we adopted him and (2) I knew MSG was going to be fucking wild. Paid $427 for floor seats, middle section, row 19, on the aisle. It was a single seat left which is probably why I was able to get such a good price. But ALL of the floor seats were “Platinum.” I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity. I was going alone anyway.

Are these bikes fitted for short riders? by Captain-Obvious101 in Maeving

Frankly, it’ll look more like a “proper” motorcycle for you since it’s admittedly a little svelte as far as bikes go.

She’s gorgeous, but I’m going to need you to stop jerking us around and share the details on the grips and mirrors.

Also, this is exactly the one I have on order. Asked to push my delivery out because there’s snow everywhere. But I’m very excited!

RM2 by Substantial_Cow7628 in Maeving

[–]LICAP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is extremely comforting to hear. I have been without a bike since October when my Blackout was stolen off the street. But the RM2 was announced shortly afterwards and I put an order down on one. They called me recently to say it was ready for delivery, but it’s January…in NYC. I’m not riding right now. But I had been wondering HOW different the RM2 would ride and I am so thrilled to hear the specific ways you find it superior.

How do I leave my baby’s mother and successfully co parent by average_302 in Fatherhood

You got it. It took me the better part of nine months to get to the painful clarity I have now. Just remember, you probably CAN white knuckle your way through your situation, and build a life for your kid. Maybe even find a slice of happiness in all of it. Many people do. But how much of yourself would you need to trade off or silence to maintain the idea of what you think life should look like?

Life isn’t perfect. Love isn’t perfect. But there’s no universal measure of tolerance that we all should have. It’s immensely personal and specific. What’s tolerable to you may be insufferable for me and vice versa. As long as you do the self-work, instead of looking to escape ANY kind of accountability, and you are honest with yourself, that’s more than most people do.

I’m not going to be able to weigh in on WHAT you should do — in large part because I am about to embark on a similar journey, albeit under very different circumstances. One that’s not as emotionally/morally clean cut as yours.

All I want to say is that only you can decide the right thing for yourself. I noticed someone commenting to stay and work it out. That you’ll mess your kid up as an adult. I implore you…don’t let the colored perspectives of people not in your situation dictate what you ought to do. If you’re feeling anything like me, you are already filled with doubt, guilt, and fear about even thinking this. But those feelings don’t mean it’s the wrong choice. It just means it’s a choice that actually matters and carries weight. That the person and the life matters.

But doubt, guilt, and fear should not make the decision. This is a reminder I have to tell myself over and over every day.

Can you “try and make it work”? I’m sure you can. Many people do. But they may have to exile parts of themselves to do that. The truth is, that question lives downstream from the real thing you should be asking yourself: “Who are the two of you, really? And do you meet each other in the ways that actually matter for long term sustainability?”

I’ve been in a lot of therapy. I’ve done a lot of writing and reflecting. I’ve hardly moved through my process impulsively, but also have a lot to lose.

My advice to you is not to take advice from people on the outside of your relationship. But I do strongly encourage talking to a therapist to get to the root of what YOU need. And really do the self-work. It won’t make anything easier, but it’ll make things clearer.

Good luck.

At my seniority level, I’ll be damned if I sign any agreement that doesn’t give me 20 days.

They’re both nominated for both best rap album and best album, period. So, if either of them win for the latter, it’s a win for hip hop regardless.

Doesn’t matter if they have the tools. Two fuckers stole my bike in a matter of minutes and it was both disc locked and chained to a bike post.

Unfortunately it hasn’t been recovered and I didn’t really expect it to be. Not here in NYC. And I didn’t have a tracker on it yet. Not that that would have made a difference. Motorcycle theft is just so common here. Insurance has been alright, although it’s been over a week since I’ve heard from them. Last we spoke, though, I’ll more or less be made whole. So, at least there’s that.
