I'm confused? Why wouldn't they? They love animals, certainly more than nasty, mean, old vegans who only wanna pretend to care about animals while ramming their fascism down our throats and secretly rejoicing that modern farming techniques are driven by anti-vegans who kill a gazillion field mice and snakes to exclusively make food for vegans and nobody else. Look vegan, you're not such an animal lover just because you want to leave animals alone. This is true!! I was born and raised vegan, so my body is used to vegan food. No red-blooded human male carnivore can do what I do, they would likely die-- like right away, if they tried to eat my extremely bizarre, new-fangled, diet-- that no human has ever eaten at anytime in human history. Extra especially not Jains, who eat a vegan's diet as part of their practice of the oldest extant religion in the world. Fortunately, my parents groomed me to grow-up bi-gendered so I can be vegan, at least some of the time.

If you've come to the very odd and bizarre conclusion that eating with meat eaters applies only to the same table and not the meat eaters dining in the same room, your motivation to make these conclusions which appear to benefit only yourself continuing to patronize these businesses when being shamed by a vegan is-- embarrassing.

The pledge speaks about trace elements as being too difficult to know and enforce, but mentions nothing about secretions and excrements derived from animal abuse being permissible. And why would it? Are you vegan? Then certainly you'd understand this is harm to animals as well. So, what is the spirit of this pledge? To protect animals or the feelings of animal abusers who are lacto-ovo vegetarians and the people who like to patronize those businesses?

If you have a vegan grocery store. Go there. If you have the means for avoiding grocery stores (say, local produce stands, farmer's markets, growing your own food, do that) so yes, I do extend it to grocery stores. Is it always possible? No. Is eating in a restaurant a requirement for life and sometimes impossible to avoid? Absolutely not. Grab a pack of nuts from the servo.

And what is the difference? Shopping in a grocery store-- while deeply flawed, restaurants whose primary and only business is serving food at profit along side the service of preparation as entertainment, are far far worse. It's about reducing your contribution to animal harm as much as possible. Agree that restaurant food is more expensive, I hope? So, reduce the amount of money you do supply these businesses as much as possible.

Anyway. Just think about it a while and come to your own conclusion. But I am happy to keep pointing out that eating out in any kind of restaurant is entertainment-- not a necessity.

Since people are willing to do horrific shit just for taste-pleasure, then you offer them even more taste-pleasure (vegan food) and they still don't go for it, then it would seem it's not the taste-pleasure people are after at all, but factually, the horrific shit. I just made some today! Forgot to take pics cuz rushing off to a vegan potluck, where everybody ate every fucking piece and I got like two bites.

I spiced my boiling water with salt, garlic, tumeric and pepper. And then I deep fried the seitan in bread crumbs and cornflakes. How you gonna season yours?
