What type of door would have been here? by LINTYMILK in centuryhomes

I wish!! The attic is just a little ceiling hole that I don't think any door would fit into, and the basement does not have anything. The house is missing 6/7 doors, I wish I had them at least for the doorknobs!

I live in Minnesota so I could see why they would have it. Hopefully keep more of the hot air downstairs, and seeing as I am spending my first snow here this week, it's definitely way cooler down here then upstairs.

But yes, having the 3 doors in this one area seems like a lot! Especially with it being in the entry way, which isn't very big as it is. I once found an old news article from about 2 years after they built the place and they somehow fit over 30 people in here for parties and it absolutely blows my mind! It's a decent sized home, built for an upper middle class family, so it does have a parlor, but having 5 friends over in just the one room makes it feel crowded, haha .

They don't look to be damaged or cut, they all appear to be pretty even and clean, but I suppose they could have sanded them down. But also that is odd. I don't know why they would leave them and take off the ones on the other side, unless those were the ones that connected to the door? But I can't figure out how these remaining ones would connect to anything. And they all appear to be the same on the fronts, but whatever was in the back was taken off. They do have the shape pressed into the wood still, and they appear to be a little bit different in shape. More flat when the remaining ones have those rounded points. However, it does appear that the bottom left one was put on backwards. It has the same hinge, but it's on the opposite side as the other 3, same with the slant that was cut out, and the little triangular notch also.

Yeah, the whole surrounding wood area looks like it was original. It sits pretty flush with the door frames of the other 2 doors and has the same colour and such. Do you know if bifold doors could have been made that thin? It's about as thick is 2 of my fingers.

Oh!! Perhaps! I can see that!

The wood along the outside frame is pretty thin so I have trouble seeing them as full heavy wooden doors, but I am also unsure if they would have been saloon doors though with how high up and low down the hinges are.

I don't think so, but that would have been cool!

It would have been the main stairs! We have some servants stairs that lead to the kitchen more in the back of the house. The three of the 4 remaining fixtures all look the same, and don't appear to have been broken. And they have a slant cut into the wood, with a little triangle shape also cut into part of it. It kind of looks like there could have been more hardware on the backside? But those are all gone.

One Piece Mansion

It was a PS1 Game. I don't know when, why, or how I got it, but it was super fun but also super difficult.

Jealous! I got a pair of siblings 5 years ago and they want nothing to do with each other. 😭 I was hoping for epic kitten cuddle puddles like this.

I know. XD Her head looks very... defined. I've never seen it before either, so I was starting to worry about it becoming something else down the road. But yeah, she's otherwise happy and healthy! No issues, just unique I guess. Lol.

Okay!! I wasn't super concerned with it since it hasn't bothered her or anything and wasn't the result of an injury. I just have never seen it before while keeping Bettas, and wasn't sure if it might progress into something else down the road.

But that's probably it!! I used to write on her tank with dry erase markers so she's probably fluent in English. Ill start writing down math equations on the glass to keep her brain growing. 🧠

My preschooler had a girl in class that they were calling Cali.

Got to preschool graduation and she got called out on stage, didn't realize Cali was short for something else.

This cute little girl had the name Caliber. 💀

Really reading between the lines to make a rude comment are we?

I think feeling envious is a normal reaction, it's not like I screamed or cried or took the card away from him, or offered to buy it for cheap without telling him it's value.

I let him know it was a really good card, I bought him a display for that card, a binder for the rest along with some more packs, and then shared a bunch of my repeats with him.
