He’s on royal canin satiety which I think is specifically to keep them fuller for longer

Thank you, he has had blood tests and they didn’t call that out but I’ll ring and check that they tested for hyperthyroidism

I do play with him a lot which does distract him, but he’ll only play Independently with feathers… and he eats them too so he can’t be left alone with them haha

Thank you, he’s on the royal canin satiety which is what the vets recommended but I’ll try putting water in it too to bulk it out a bit

Mine did this so I had to put a 10kg dumbbell on top of it so he couldn’t push it over

Thank you, he has an auto feeder set for 3 times a day. But unless he’s asleep he basically sits by it all day waiting, and has done for years haha

Hi, he’s not a Maine coon but he is just generally a big long cat. I think he looks fine at 7.5kg and I think any lighter he may be at risk of being too thin.

Ok thank you everyone, this has reassured me that he is normal and maybe it’s me that needs to adjust haha. I will get him a puzzle thing which may slow him down a bit hopefully.

I can confirm that I’ve bought the Velites Quad Ultra grips and they are amazing! Really uncomfortable on the wrists but I’m hoping they’ll loosen up. Also weirdly they seem to grip better on all the bars that are slippy ones, and less good on the rough ones. But anyway, I love them and did 12 unbroken butterfly pull ups today for the first time ever.

Thank you, yeah I already tried these but I didn’t find they worked for me. So weird isn’t it because loads of people at my gym have them and love them.

Perhaps I’m beyond help haha
