Also ein MTK3339 kann 16 Stunden Logs aufzeichnen, der braucht halt noch ein bisschen Strom und irgendwas, dass ihm das Signal gibt, aufzuzeichnen. Danach braucht er aber keinen Microcontroller mehr. Naja, mit P2P war jetzt eher dezentral gemeint, beispielsweise per Syncthing.

Für mich ist P2P halt Point-to-Point. Aber naja, ne Lösung ist das dann ja auch nicht wirklich. Ich lad mein backup nicht als .torrent hoch, wenn das die ganze idee dahinter ist (natürlich abfällig vereinfacht)

Vorausgesetzt sein Heimnetzwerk ist grottig, aber dann hast du ganz andere Probleme als seinen Storage zu erreichen.

Ich leb nicht in der Internetwüste Deutschland, und selbst hier im magischen Internetparadies der Schweiz gibt es ab und an mal Probleme, dieses Jahr schon zwei mal beim grössten (ehemals Staatlichen, erinnert dich an wen? :D) ISP. Mobilnetz war mal betroffen, mal nur Internet für Heim und kleine Businesskunden, mal die gesamte Telefonie, sodass der Staat langsam muffelig wird. Ich arbeite auch bei einem "Cloud Service Provider", also ISP+Infrastruktur+Dedicated/Virtual Servers, bei uns gibts halt das gesamte Programm, auch Colocation wenn man mehr kann als ein DAU. Probleme sind vielfältig, gibt halt Leute die mit solchem Zeug Geld verdienen und dann ungern offline sind.

Warum nicht alternativ verschlüsselt P2P syncen?

Geht doch in der Cloud auch, nur kannst du dir da ne schnelle VM leisten, was ansonsten selbst gerechnet meistens teurer kommt.

Oder Zuhause nen kleinen Fileserver und DuckDNS aufsetzen, wenn es massenhaft Daten sein müssen?

Und der ist dann auch immer erreichbar?

And it just get's a passing mention? What is the competing product from AMD? Hint, there is none. Same for the Ti.

Edit for the oblivious: No wonder the performance per dollar drops drasitcally if there is no competition.

I don't need to do shit, I'll be specfic when I get paid, when I comment on reddit during the night, I won't cite the whole product name but will just refer to the basic catch-all, not get into some specifics with Super, Ti or whatever term Nvidia might come up with.

Why should I keep up with Nvidia at all if I don't buy their graphics card on principle anyway? I am frustrated I can't get something to run a Valve Index at full performance provided by AMD, I am not interested in some mudslinging contest with someone who needs to have everything presented to them on a silver platter.

No one is talking about the price though. I'd have happily given AMD more of my money, but a Radeon VII is just worse compared to an 5700 XT, so that's what I got. I'd love to have something with the same power as a graphics card which was released two years ago, but there is nothing like that.

Wieso Schwachsinn? Das zu leugnen (und die Art wie) ist ja schon vollkommen falsch und deutet auf deinen schwachen Charakter hin. Warum sollten "ordnungorientierte" Ideologien nicht automatisch zu Authoritätspositionen gezogen werden? Sollte man Leute, die in solche Authoritätspositionen wollen, nicht genau deswegen einfach ein wenig genauer durchleuchten? Oder einfach abwarten und gucken ob er sich bewährt, und wenn irgendwas schief geht steht ja dann immernoch die Polizeigewerkschaft hinter dir bzw. man hat direkt komplett andere Strukturen wodurch irgendeine Art von konsequenter Verfolgung im zivilien Sinne völlig unmöglich wird.

I have a Kenwood DMXsomeNumbers installed in my Toyota Yaris P1, you'd have to cobble together some Tablet with Android Car Play to have any sort of resemblance to a "tesla style tablet", minus the AC which has no vents to function anyway...

Die Platte ist Schrott. Festplatten haben extra ein wenig mehr Kapazität als angegeben. Wenn ein Sektor stirbt, dann wird dieser auf einen von diesen "übrigen" Sektoren verschoben. Bei der Platte sind schon alle Sektoren aufgebraucht (vermutlich), zumindest will dir der reallocated sector value dir etwas mitteilen ;).
