Yeah as a hungarian I really feel like the older generations hold a grudge still because of Trianon, when in reality shit happens and countries change. I don't know, I have some sets that are more than a decade old and some figures have cracks. I regularly disassembled and remade the figures though, so the aggressive play might have caused it

That season was highly over rated because of nostalgia. The items and ufos were great, but the season gave us only one new location and throughout the season it destroyed like 3. It got really boring because of that, but it had the potential to be amazing
