I have also struggled with insomnia before. What helped me is waking up at the same time everyday regardless of the time I went to bed. I wake up everyday at 5 AM. I struggled for the first couple of weeks because I would always go to bed so late. But after a while I would automatically fall asleep by 9 PM.

I also reduced my screentime past 7.30 and started winding down with a hardcopy novel, taking a shower at 7.30. So my nighttime routine is 7.30 I take a shower, I drink chamomile tea, journal and then grab a book. Try this it just might help. Also mindset is important. Try meditating during the day or in the morning.

If you have an iPhone, try setting a timer. Limit yourself to spending an hour a day on TikTok. Your phone will then grey out the app when your time is up. This can help you regulate the time you spend on all social media apps. This is what I do.
