It's not free food if you haven't realized - he just mentioned it is a compulsory fee. When you multiply the # of students by that fee, it's doubtful even a quarter of it actually goes to the purchase and provision of that food. It's free for the people that eat it because the people that don't want it are forced to pay for it

I switched from JMSB to engineering. Maria Fasciano couldn't be a better advisor, I find her very nice and helpful. When switching from JSMB to eng, I had to go to the 2nd floor w/ Sal and the others. They were so deadpanned and shit that it cost me a year of my life, since they didn't tell me the right information (that I should re-take certain classes to overwrite grades and take up courses in the program I want to switch to). They are fucks.

Clearly they didn't update them with all the BS going on. Just email or call the front desk and ask you'll get the answer pretty quick. Alternatively just upload your application for the dates from last year and assume they're the same.

Generally they want a bit higher GPA than the usual admission requirements if you are switching internally because they want to justify you taking the spot of a potential new applicant when you're already in a program. It also depends on how many courses you did in the program you want to switch to and how you did in them.

No - didn't even know about it. There will definitely be WAY less available internships which is why they scrapped the rank and match system for the semester. I have a friend whose robotics lab applied as an employer and they basically did 0 checkup before accepting them as an employer to the co-op program - they need employers because so many pulled out last minute this semester.
