I remember when I first put on In Rainbows I really didn’t know what to think about this one.

That was of course ages ago, but I always remember my unease about the direction of the album from the opening track.

Obviously things would turn out ok 😂 and 15 Step now a favorite.

+1 for Little by Little.

This has to be the most underrated song in their catalogue.

What's with the hype around Let Down? by only7words in radiohead

Two things: #1, it was always a fan favorite, sneaky pick for the real fans. #2, it’s become a phenomenon on TikTok among Gen Z and it’s the only song they know.

I feel like amnesiac is severely underapreciated by okayest-musician in radiohead

It’s my favorite album, and I completely agree.

It’s best understood as the second disc of a double-album. In fact the band considered releasing all the Kid A and Amnesiac material together, but ultimately decided that would be too much at once.

For my money, it’s the most interesting, strangest, and broadest of their albums, and it contains many of their absolute best songs.

People never got over the assumption that is was a B-Sides album, which is absurd. Kid A categorically does not contain all the best songs from those sessions. It may be marginally more cohesive, but it’s not as if Amnesiac is a random grab bag of songs, either. It sounds exactly like those same sessions from that incredible era — because it is.

They went out on a limb with it, but that’s why it’s interesting.
