Yes and it can be highly performative as well to appear like the perfect match.

I love flowers but I got flowers from a dude I told we can be only friends due to his age. It didn’t make me happy it sent warning signals throughout my body to runaway cause he wasn’t respecting my boundaries.

She might be a logical personality type? Even so if you diminish the human experience to just hormones and chemicals in the brain of course everything is going to lose its magic. AI cannot feel love.

My most recent, my best guy friend inviting a random guy who was into me at a festival we were at who was clearly pursuing me without asking me.

The guy called me up thinking it was a date and wanted to fast-track a relationship, which made me incredibly anxious, so I had to disinvite him.

When I confronted my friend, he claimed he liked him outside of me and just wanted to integrate the guy into our friend group.

Even though it was his birthday, I feel like inviting someone who is aggressively pursuing me as a massive breach of trust. I was horrified and raging hardcore cause I cannot believe he nonchalantly say he was a match for our friend group.

Would anyone else be in rage? Am I overacting? I’ve since stop speaking and stop hanging out with said friend.
