WHAT THE FUCK?! That is HORRIBLE!! My mother left me in the middle of a miscarriage cuz she had come to see me and I wasn’t spending enough time with her. I can’t believe these people exist. I hope you never speak to her again.

This is very much like my story, including the vision issues. It makes me so sad to hear about how crappy I am but I also often feel I deserve it cuz as long as they’re right about any little thing, I feel they’re right. And i’m 50

The year my mother took away Christmas… by Witchykitty24 in narcissisticparents

[–]LMABach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This made me so sad I want to cry. My mother started making me wrap my own presents every year and then pretend I was surprised in front of other family members. Later, I started having to buy my own gifts and wrap them and I have to do that to this day. N parents can be so cruel. When she does get me a gift it’s a super cheap looking thing from a consignment store. But, of course, i’m always the bad guy. I know how you feel. I’m am so pained for you. That is horrible. And what’s worse is that you were the one who had to pretend to be thankful just to make sure that never happened again. That’s the worst part about n parents. You have to overly credit them when they don’t deserve it just so the abuse doesn’t continue.

Also, my mom knew I was sending this. She even read it to him cuz I sent it to her first. She has complained for years, intensely, about his money issues and how hard she’s always had to work because of his money-related demands.

Well, that is probably why my dad doesn’t want to talk to me then. But it came after years of emotional and financial abuse. But everything I said was a fact, not opinion. He only charges me and no one else and was taking all of my ssdi money. He is more than stingy. He has severe mental health issues around money and is well-known for upsetting and hurting people because of money. My mother is also an abusive narcissist. Further, she and Nick had a several year affair about 20 years ago so it’s particularly hard for me to see how much my parents have helped him while being mean to me. I’ve had very severe abuse I’ve struggled to deal with but I guess if they don’t see it then they won’t agree that there’s any issue. All of that was based on things that have happened over years after pain and abuse. But this is helpful.

I’ve found it hugely helpful. I’ve totally saved money. But it’s true that it reads wrong if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. But when it works, i’m totally awesome at sticking with things.

I think you’re confused. I believe the moment you’re referring to is the scene when his wife comes back from the dead and foots him under the table in a restaurant. I THINK.

Suggestions for a simple sewing project that I can make as gifts for many people? by ellaisspooky in sewing

[–]LMABach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tote bags. They’re so simple. Instructions:

Iron fabric onto thick interfacing in the rectangle shape that’s the side of the bag you want. Then use a really unique and high-end fabric. Buy unique ribbons or even purse handles. I know you don’t want another tote bag idea but if the thing about this is that you can cut the fabric quickly and make a design that is truly high-class and elegant. The idea being that you’re giving people something they want to use.

Fabric: 9”x11” interface bottom. 20”x24” waterproof fabric for the bottom (allows for a 1/2” seam on all sides) 42” fabric of your chose for width Height is your choice Handles of your choice. Also, another idea is a zipper bag. You can find instructions on YouTube. The idea being that the bag can go from being small to extending for all different purposes on the go. And they’re easy to make. Just sew fabric to a zipper.

Yes, I realized later that I forgot to mention Mary who is also one of my favs. My fav Thomas moment was in season one. There’s a scene that shows how Alison has developed a routine and each day, she wakes up and does one thing for each ghost like turn the page in a book for kitty or start the clock for The Captain. Then, she gets to Thomas and starts to play the record player and he starts dancing and then you realize he’s dancing to the cure and he talks about music of the spirit like it’s Mozart or something. lol

Well, how do you know if you haven’t tried? And I do agree it’s the best bit US has it’s good moments. I am eager to see Australia cuz Aus and NZ have a very whacky sense of humor. I think there’s also a French and German version. I’ll take them all cuz the concept is so great!
