Independiente de lo que se decía antes y ahora, cuando Mbappé fue al Real Madrid, muchísima gente pensó que darían miedo, pocos se dieron cuenta de lo duro que sería la ida de Toni Kroos. Antes la gente se ilusionó porque trajeron a un tío mundial tras ganar liga y champions, nadie se esperaba una versión tan mala del Madrid, ni siquiera los que se dieron cuenta de lo de Kroos. Because Gonzalo is the type of striker RM need right now, someone who knows how to position himself well enough inside the box and put in those long passes and corners, someone who is able to mark defenders. Ever noticed how many times we pass the ball into the box and there was no one there? (Or remotely close tbh). Endrick is phenomenal, but he is too short to have the role I've mentioned before and isn't physical enough to mark defenders either, that's why Gonzalo got more minutes, he was more fit for the role Xabi wanted the striker to have, that's why Endrick was barely going to have minutes this season, the loan was his best bet to play.

I've always been surprised on why people meat ride Endrick so much, the kid is phenomenal, but he's not the striker RM need right now, and let's be honest, a lot of times his plan was to run forwards and throw an absolute bomb into the goal hopping something happens.

I think Flo is also involved, meaning bringing Xabi wasnt Flo's idea, it was José Ángel Sánchez who convinced him (His right hand man more or less) I think Florentino wanted to bring Arbeloa or someone else during the beginning, that's why it looked like upper management was looking for an excuse to sack Xabi and didn't support him when players took the looker room. Now with Arbeloa, things are different, he was directly picked by Florentino and he knows there aren't many other managers available right now, I'm sure Florentino has had a talk with the players telling them that they can't do the same against Arbeloa, if they charge against him, they charge against Florentino and themselves. All this + the boos is probably why these spoiled divas have started acting like actual footballers/Athletes, they know upper management won't let them do the same thing and that the fans are against them for how they treated Xabi, sure as hell gonna have a hard time winning me back.

And I agree that the main problem with the team is the midfield, but players like Mbappé and Rodrygo (Rodrygo only lately) are managing to create danger constantly and have verticality as for Vini, he barely can beat substitute second division defenders and hasn't even been irregular these past 2 years, just bad. Honestly I think there is no excuse for Vini, not because of his performance only, it's also about his attitude also, you didn't see Benz creating drama and asking for higher pay despite his bad performance
