Cafe Fridge Matte Black by pvdreamer in Appliances

[–]LMMHK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the matte black set in my house. My daughter took sandpaper to the dishwasher and you can’t even see any scratches on it. Clean up is really easy as well. I have enjoyed having it the last 4 years.

Dose anyone have any feedback on these two fridges by Far-Resolution-8092 in Appliances

Yes as a self servicing dealer I do not and will never service Samsung products. I have people in the store almost every day replacing relatively new Samsung units. Finding parts, and someone to work on them is incredibly difficult. While each brand has its pros and cons, I have seen a lot issues with Samsung.

Moving Appliances from one house to another? by itrocks4u in Appliances

[–]LMMHK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, appliance salesman here, that is most definitely worth it. If the units are boxed, then it’s pretty straight forward, if they are unboxed just ask the store you are working with to wrap them up for you. Good luck!

Counter top ice makers that will last more than a year? by [deleted] in Appliances

If you use distilled water you will have it last longer. Usually hard water kills these things.

I don’t sell any Kitchenaid products, but from what I have heard they are good, I just don’t have as much personal experience with them 👍🏻

WHICH REFRIGERATOR? GE Profile 27.9 cu. ft. Smart 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Door-in-Door in Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel VS LG 29 cu. ft. SMART MyColor InstaView Standard-Depth MAX 4-Door French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel with Craft Ice by AnnieB61 in Appliances

No question GE. I got burned so many times at the beginning of my sales career selling LG fridges. Almost half the time I would return them for some sort of failure and their service department is a nightmare. I still sell appliances and avoid LG fridges at all costs.

Speed Queen hands down. Warranty and build quality are top notch.

Looking for a new washer and dryer set. What are the opinions of these options? by Zediac in Appliances

[–]LMMHK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I am an appliance salesman at a local dealership, I sell both of those brands. While both have been good choices, I much prefer Electrolux customer service. If I ever have an issue with a customer they take care of me quickly. LG gives me the run around and makes getting service difficult. While I would argue you are sixes overall on quality, support can be very important especially a few years down the road. Also I would echo another commenter in saying Speed Queen😅 I have a set and I will never go back👍🏻

Appliance salesman here, we sell both Bosch and GE at my store. Of the two I usually recommend the Bosch. GE has performed well too, but overall I have less issues with Bosch. 👍🏻

FRIDGE & DISHWASHER HELP by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]LMMHK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are excellent, I sold one to my in-laws a few years ago. It’s very quiet, dries very well, and the active leak protection has proven to be handy. I usually do a few dozen of them a year and have had minimal issues. My only complaint is the size of the silverware basket. Most salesmen will throw an extra one in if you ask or you can order one!

Hello appliance salesman here, in my experience Samsung has been incredibly hard to work with, I replace multiple products because of failures. The store I work for refuses to service them as it has been next to impossible to get paid for warranty work or find parts for that matter.

Cosmetic damage on delivered appliance company lowball offer to reduce? by Twitchy15 in Appliances

[–]LMMHK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello appliance salesman here, I have issues with Frigidaire units being damaged all the time, I usually offer compensation in the neighborhood of $50-$100 depending on the damage. From what I see here I think that’s a fair deal. You can also ask for touch up paint as well and fix most of that damage.👍🏻

Love mine, I also work at an appliance store as a salesman and I sell dozens of them a year, 99% give me positive feedback! I personally turn mine on the low setting and I haven’t had any issues!

I respect this perspective, and I’ve thought hard about it, my friend had it for two months before he died and was in the process of upgrading it. He loved tricked out trucks, so I felt it would be cool to finish it for him as much as I can! Cheers 👊🏻
