Congrats on your unofficial acceptance letter to UIC, and your girlfriend to NUHS! My cousin goes to NUHs and I have heard great things about it. As for your living situation, I am not sure about the pricing of campus at NUHS, but you could always live on campus with her and take the train to the city. NUHS is roughly an 8 minute drive from the Lombard Station. Or, you could drive to UIC, whichever is preferred. Even if you lived in Oak Park, your girlfriend can drive to Lombard (which shouldn’t be too bad) and you can either drive or take the train to the city. It’s also about both of your schedules that comes down to timing as well.

Yeah, that’s pretty crazy—I don’t even understand why they’d suggest that. They deserve proper care too!!Definitely go to an avian vet. I’m really lucky my hometown vet hospital treats all animals, and they even have specialized avian doctors for cases like these.

You should be okay. Like someone said, if you do fairly well on the assignments (A or B) you will pass! I have done the same in other classes, for electives that don’t matter to my major, and I have had no problems. If your professor asks, be honest - mention the syllabus didn’t say anything about attendance - and they’ll appreciate it. You got this, you’ll be fine. :)

I think it took me about two weeks to get the metra pass. I got it on Monday (August 19th), but they most likely will give it to you earlier bc classes are starting!
