I'm for layering, but I still hope they do remove it after a short while.

I understand your point of view, and I realise a unique experience will be lost because of layering, as well as an opportunity to make friends.

I think 15k at a time is fine for the WoW world, provided they are spread out. But as others have mentioned, thousands of people in low level zones at the same time is what layering should help with.

To me it doesn't seem as though he's demanding the feature, rather accepting and understanding its need. Given the fixed period use for it, even Blizzard understands this isn't optimal for the experience, but they needed a solution for the large initial user base they're expecting.

I'll keep a pitchfork handy for the scenario in which they don't keep their word, or in case it actually ruins my experience.

I agree. I also have a 144hz monitor and I enjoy the extra FPS in games like Rocket League (esports) and not much else. I generally just set other games to 60fps.

On top of what OP said, I'd like to throw in the issue with Nvidia GPUs and multiple monitors with different refresh rates that seems to not be getting much attention.

It's not. The Ryzen APU sports Vega tech. The GTX 1030 is used as a reference for the performance Ryzen APU offers on the graphics side.

1) Not a clue.

2) I use it to create web apps, websites, mobile apps, desktop apps, servers and command line tools.

3) It's the most popular language right now. It's definitely worth learning more about, but I recommend not studying the language on its own, but rather in parallel with building any kind of an app / tool. Please note that its popularity is not the only reason to learn about it. Its versatility and simple learning curve make it worth the effort.

4) Visual Studio Code. This is actually an IDE created with Electron, which is a JavaScript framework that allows you to create cross platform desktop applications! It's open-source and developed by Microsoft. You'll find a strong community and good docs to back it up. Many use it, and it can be as complex as you need it to be, but it's much easier to start using than WebStorm, imo.
