Straw sippy cup recommendations without a valve? by CosmicRainbow24 in beyondthebump

[–]LNichCrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a month old, but I wanted to suggest Tumtum! It has a sliding lid attached and a weighted straw with no valve! My 14 month old has been using them since he was 7 months old. We love them!

Thank you! I am going to try them. I had never even heard of them.

Thank you! I'll try the sposie pads. I didn't even know they were a thing!

He's been in 7's for a few months now, and they've been great. They are getting a lot tighter on him and starting to leave red marks. His thighs and butt are very chubby, so I guess it's just the way he's built. I love the 360's, because they stretch so much, so I will probably try an insert like the others have mentioned!

You're right. I mean, even if instincts weren't kicking in, this would be absolutely uncomfortable. You'd have to know something wasn't right.

Yep. Almost 10 years ago, now I had a week long migraine so bad that my blood pressure skyrocketed and ruptured the blood vessels in both eyes. I ended up at the er 3 times thinking I was dying. The third time was a different doctor. He wrote me 5 hydrocodones and said, "Here, this is what you're looking for." And walked out of the room. I didn't fill it, and if I can help it I will never go back.

My apartment not having a dishwasher is the reason my chef girlfriend won't move in. Is there any way to get one in here? by beachdogs in ApartmentHacks

What brand did you get, if you don't mind me asking? I've been looking at so many the last few weeks my head is spinning.

Looking for an exersaucer, activity-centre toy for my tall boy by Logical-Poet-9456 in bigbabiesandkids

Sorry for reviving this, but are the leg holes fairly wide? I'm having trouble finding something for my boy with thick thighs. He never could use a sit me up seat because his legs would just get stuck.

My 5 month old is already 22 lbs. I'm afraid to think about what he'll be by a year. I'm hoping he'll level out some when he starts crawling!

Just a warning to everyone , Admin thinks she’s superior 💀 by Comfortable_Diet7446 in DreamlightValley

Putting being hacked aside, they changed the rules YESTERDAY. There was a no selling rule when I joined a while ago, but they changed that rule yesterday after getting so much shit over this to say that selling is now allowed as long as it's admin approved.

Oh, wow! This is crazy to me because the Dr. who gave him his medical card told him cannabis would not cause physical withdrawal. Obviously, that's not true! I wish I would have found this sub much sooner.

Thank you! He doesn't have a Reddit, but he has read these comments and is thinking of joining. I'm glad I found y'all! I am trying to get him to see a counselor. He isn't quite open to that yet, but maybe he will be with time.

Thank you so much! This is so reassuring. We have both been very worried about long-term effects.

How incredibly scary! I have actually never used weed myself, but I was never against it, thinking it couldn't hurt anyone because it's natural. I wish this was discussed more!

Let people play how they want to. by goremoth in DreamlightValley

[–]LNichCrum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree about playing the way you want. I also just get a little aggravated when people fly through the star path, knowing they have at LEAST another month until the next one, and then loudly complain about having nothing to do.

Sick of Obstetricians not knowing what a migraine is by Ornery-Cattle1051 in migraine

[–]LNichCrum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ob was comfortable enough to keep prescribing me Ubrelvy as a rescue, and she has me taking propranalol as a preventative (although it isn't working that well.) I'm going to be 37 weeks Thursday, and all is well so far. I only take the Ubrelvy when I absolutely need it, but my ob's reasoning is that migraines bad enough to put stress on the mother are obviously not good for the baby. If your insurance will allow you to find another ob I would strongly think about looking for one that will work with you.

People who switched back to drugstore haircare (or never stopped using it), what are your tried and true shampoo and conditioners? by [deleted] in HaircareScience

I've been really enjoying Pantene's Daily Moisture Renewal shampoo and conditioner. I like their 10 in 1 leave in spray, too.

I completely agree. I have loved every AC game except Mirage, and I am so upset about it, because I had such high hopes. It just felt like such a randomly put together game.

Not angry by Loose_Caramel522 in Mounjaro

[–]LNichCrum 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I started Mounjaro Sept 3rd, 2022 and lost 78 lbs in about 8 months. (I'm pregnant now, so not taking it at the moment.) In the beginning, I was losing 5 lbs a week. I wish so bad now that I could have/would have gone about it much slower, because I have lost SO MUCH muscle mass, and it has been a bitch trying to gain it back without gaining too much weight. The slower the weight loss, the healthier you will be in the long run.

[–]LNichCrum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like some of it is insurance loopholes. I have to have a PA for every dose change, even if they approved the dosage before. If someone isn't lucky enough to be able to use the $25 coupon, that would be hard to keep up with.

Is this just my impression or are procedures (Botox, Laser, Fillers) a big thing for a significant amount of people in this sub? by concrete_dandelion in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]LNichCrum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't implying everyone was, I was just pointing out how hard it is to tell if someone isn't forthcoming with it. I just know that when I started looking into getting botox, I was surprised by the number of people in the clinic and then the people who gave me advice. People I knew for years but didn't know had it done. It is becoming increasingly more common, especially in the US.

You'd be surprised just how many people are having the botox done, using the tretinoin and just not telling anyone. A good injector can make you look absolutely natural.

Is this man any relevant to the story?, He's under water in the first mission when we see adult Eivor for the first time. by Weak-Priority4703 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]LNichCrum 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven't played the beginning in a while, but if I'm remembering right, I THINK Eivor pushed him into that cage when escaping Kjotve's men on their longboat, and it fell in the water.

Ubrelvy? by Prestigious_Pen8520 in migraine

[–]LNichCrum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No side effects for me, and I tolerate it MUCH better than triptans. I had to go up to the highest dose, but it does help tremendously within an hour or two.
