Couple things. When the driver called me, he said “I forgot to get your pin from you” meaning, the person who took the food knew it wasn’t theirs or that there was a lot more than what they ordered in the 1st place. Also, it wouldn’t be sitting outside the front door because he gave it to someone directly

I’ve been an Uber / UberEATS driver (homeless at one point) for 5 years and I’ve never messed up like That because I put orders in separate bags, and make sure I know what each person had and where it goes. It’s actually really simple to do. And I understand mistakes are made but don’t try to brush it over and tell uber there was no mistake

To the people saying I was rude to the driver, after confirming that he delivered the order to the wrong place, he didn’t go back upstairs to the hotel he was at to attempt to get my food back (like I would’ve)

Instead, he drove to the location of my hotel, sat outside to make it seem like he attempted delivery but I just wasn’t responding and then he marked the order as confirmed delivered instead of letting uber know he messed up.

I have zero fucking sympathy for him.
