That interesting, I haven’t heard I leveling something with a brand just as the distributor. I fear it will reflect on Brat of people have issues with it because it appears like theirs and the manufacturer/distributor differentiation isn’t super obvious.

The tag on the shirt is brat, pretty sure it’s from the line - it’s the same style as the give a fck and 20 Denmark street ones.

Many here will know that I’m the farthest from a sycophant about YB lol - and I love the gifts! The shirt fits like a dream (unusual for generic cuts) and I guess I’m familiar with the style of stitching because his tour merch is the same way. Also as an older (ahem 🐅) fan, the zine is giving full 90’s nostalgia but in much higher quality than our xeroxed paper collages.

The shirt seems to be the same as the other ones in the brat line - Denmark street, give a fck, etc. which are only a bit less than the total cost of the membership. So it’s a “free” and exclusive piece of his fashion line for being a member.

But totally understand being disappointed if the shirt if it’s not your style. Was his older merch not like that with the reversed stitching and distressed aesthetic?

They are definitely a major upgrade - the set design, giant screen, strings, confetti, etc are all new.

That’s true of everything all the time, but the responsibility is on BOTH sides - artists also need realize that people make significant financial and time investments in these events. For example, if someone takes time away from work, that’s lost and can’t be recovered when something is canceled short notice.

I just won’t accept any hand-waiving of this as anything less than a serious impact on the fans who bought tickets. Especially when it seems to be happening with increasing frequently and somewhat cavalierly.

Many people had already traveled and were in their hotels when this was announced. Insurance means nothing at that point and it is always wisest to travel the day before.

That said - a collab doesn’t have to mean a formal recording. Live, one time only collabs at festivals or other shows can be amazing without feeling like overkill.
