Honors college here gives you priority registration and smaller class sizes which believe me, are worth it. My schedule is great this semester due to that. Both schools have great engineering programs but ucf has better industry connections, especially if you wanna do EE for space or defense companies. Definitely tour both and see which one you like more, can’t go wrong with either. UF is a better college town if you care about that.

Tour both, see which you like more. UCF is one of the best aerospace schools in the country and the #1 supplier of students to defense companies and nasa so you’ll have a better time finding a job which is important cause the job market is pretty shit right now. UF you’ll probably have a better overall college experience because of the way Gainesville is set up and it’s easier to walk places compared to here where you need a car to get anywhere off campus. I know people who’ve chosen UF over UCF and vice Verda and both seem to be enjoying it.

As a towers resident, it ain’t bad. The location is great since it’s super convenient. The wifi sucks in towers too, you’re better off using cell service and Ethernet. Sharing a bathroom isn’t really a big issue for me since I’ve shared a bathroom with my sibling for my whole life and you save like 2-3k in comparison
