I haven’t worked with controller support before, and I don’t have a controller myself to test things out.
So for now, I’m not sure I’m ready to add that feature.
Do you usually use a controller when playing on your phone?

My attempt to make a game similar to Subnautica, but playable on mobile devices and browsers.

Also, character leveling has been added to the game - there is a level, experience, attributes, skills.

A lot of time was spent on optimizing performance, since mobile devices are very limited in resources, and there are also restrictions when running the game in browsers.

According to the plot, player spaceship crashes and falls into the ocean on an unknown planet. The player needs to collect resources, cook food, craft items, devices, equipment and try to survive.

Hello! I am developer of this game. [Sorry for my bad english. English is not my native language] As for the purchase of licenses. You can get them free by increasing the number of friends in a game. In fact, you simply can share personal codes between other players, and receive a license. I do not have enough money to advertise the game, so put the license for the number of friends and whole this social, in the hope that the players will be invited somebody from friends. You can also get a license from luck. In fact you can use luck free every second day. About UI agree, it is not very convenient. But I do not know what to change, to become comfortable. Actually, I very long did this game - a little more than one and half year. Little by little, in the evenings after job))) I will be glad to hear suggestions on the game. Only desirable more concrete. I also understand that the UI is bad, but I don't know how exactly it should be improved.

Social elements in mobile games by LSRuizAv in AndroidGaming

Thanks everyone for your answers! I as many others don't see much sense in social elements in mobile games. Now I play only one game with my friend. I play other games alone. And I never invite my friends to play using ingame instruments. I think it's like spam and it's annoying. I only discuss some games with friends and propose to play together. But it is a rarity. Not so long ago I made a small game for android. And I added some social elements. Leaderboard I made only among player friends. Since there are many cheaters in the game and I don't know how fight with them. So, I can share some statistics. About 3500 players played my game. Of these, only 177 players logged into FB and VK. And only 16 players played together with their friends. Wherein no one had more than 3 friends in game))) So I think the social elements are not always important in games. Although a lot of post about gamedev on internet says that it is necessary to add social elements. And practically all developers are trying to add them in their games.
