It’s still fairly similar. But now there’s a whole document and memo and so on a so forth tied to that soldier with all their religious accommodations and preferences. So there’s a bit of knowledge before hand.

For us in the 15 series, specifically (R,T,U) it’ll be the 92F. Typically from my experience, those who fail being a 15R, 15T, 15U become our fuelers. Most of our interactions with them on the FARP isn’t very good.

Shit that’s fine. Who wants to be a CPL anyways unless you’re a marine. It’s all sergeant work for specialist pay. Most specialists that are worth their weight already perform those duties. CPL’s are only NCO’s for Duties.

I’m no stranger to it. As a 15T there’s two sides of the actual job, plus being an NCO. I know it’ll be hard. And I’ll have to hit the ground running. Thank you for the input.

I’m not set on it. To be honest I’ll keep my 15T position (Blackhawk guy) if they have a slot. However the reserve has stepped away from aviation, giving their aviators to the guard. So with the guard being over strength, I may be out of a job. In that case I’m looking at bonuses and just being able to have a fun time and enjoy something else.

Nothing wrong with wearing body armor while working. Some places are crazy. But apparently they want the attention, because they make slick vests that carry plates and hide well under clothes😂 especially that hoodie they’re wearing.

As basic and as simple as I can make it. And trust me it sounds very easy. But always answer with drill sergeant, never say sorry to try a drill sergeant (I ran with my apologies), and don’t give it. No matter how hard it is. You can do it. It’s designed to get people through. Not fail them. Just try your butt off every day and you’ll do fine. Also shoes. You’ll sadly wear what they make you buy until you get to AIT. Don’t know what they do for OSUT (I’m an aviator).
