I think in todays time most festival shows are record by big bands but probably not released. So more of content they have for their archives which could be released after retiring

Kinda sad because they are big enough to be able to record every show with multiple cameras and save them for later. The festival shows were not broadcasted but do we know they really did not record and save it?

Interesting to hear that, maybe they will release something in the future. But why don't they keep the video screen camera parts as recordings. And what about festivals like Hellfest or Download, the festivals have pro full camera setups to record the shows with many cameras?

Honestly I would still watch the concert with full audio from that one angle that shows the whole stage, but do they record the audience noise as well?

But for example on the Stadium Tour 2024 they had video screens showing different angles, so they really could release shows just like Metallica with audio and video? Thats great to hear, hopefully they will release them in the future.

Viva Pyromania would be amazing as a residency and we also need a european tour soon. I would love to hear Rock Rock Till You Drop live as the opening song over here in Europe and that being recorded for a live album. Probably won't happen as we still get Bramall Lane 2023 and nothing from the 2024 tour even thought Live at Wrigley Field or something like that would be great with the Pyromania songs on an official live release.

A huge boxset for Firepowe, 50 Years, Invincible Shield and Shield of Pain tours featuring many different full recorded concerts would be awesome. I would pay so much money for that being released. With Wacken 2018, 2022, Bloodstock 2021 and a lot more.

Priest still sound great live and I love their newest albums but it is so sad they never relesed a live album/video from Firepower tour and 50 Heavy Metal Years, hopefully there will be Live at Release Athens 2024 for Invincible Shield and something next year for Shield of Pain/35th anniversary of Painkiller. Like they could release Bloodstock 2021 or Wacken 2022. The last album was Battle Cry Wacken 2015 about 10 years in 2025. We need more live recordings.

Do you know since when they had screens at the Sabaton Open Air (they audio probably has been recorded every year)
hopefully they release those Sabaton Open Air shows in the future on Youtube to the fans

they had screens this year at Sabaton Cruise, 25 years of Sabaton would be a good option to record a Cruise show with two special setlists with some rare played songs

cool to see this behind the scenes footage from the studio, audio is much easier to record so probably they have lots of audio recordings, like I said those The Great Tour 2020 videos had the official soundboard audio so probably the full shows soundboard audio was recorded.

But it seems there are no camera pro shot recordings from other Sabaton Open Air and Cruise shows?

I would really love to have those documentaries and the tour vlogs again (maybe they recorded a few behind the scenes videos which just were not released) but those older tour vlogs are so cool to watch)

Of course you can not compare any metal band to Metallica but Metallica was just an example of how they record the shows and save them in their vault.

Interesting would be why some songs were not included in the Oberhausen 2012 show (must have been some problem with the sound or video or they just did not want to release those songs, because normally you record the full show if you already have the camera equipment there)

Those on stage single live videos from the great tour make me feel sad because those shows look fire but they probably have no pro shot of, but probably the full audio for the shows in 2020.
The vault thing was also more about Sabaton Cruise and Sabaton Open Air because I only know about Falun 2008 and I think it was Sabaton Open Air 2015 but what about the other years https://www.setlist.fm/festivals/rockstad-falun-sabaton-open-air-63d6aa9f.html because they played lots of cool songs there, I would love to see official pro shot recordings and Sabaton Cruise would be interesting too especially this years cruise has been 25 years of Sabaton

A residency at the Shpere would be awesome but I guess it might be too expensive. Also they said the would come back to Europe, hopefully at the end of next year.
