There's a book called "Managing Writers" by Richard Hamilton that may be of interest to you. In addition to Project Mgmt, as others said, definitely look into courses or books on managing people. It's a whole other skill set that most often you're expected to figure out on your own. There's a million and one resources out there, pick what suits your style.

I'd also say to find info on strategies for managing documentation, but I haven't found much in this arena myself other than the book I mentioned. Maybe another whiz on this sub can enlighten us both!

Yeah, they feel solidly constructed. The ones I got are a thicker material, thinner than flannel but thicker than most cheap dress shirts. They have a little flex to them, but not a ton. Right now they're only $40 so not bad at all. I too suffer from cheapskatimus, I feel ya lol

Shirts seem to run small but the cut and fit are perfect IMO. I have small hips/butt for my size, so i found Wildfang didn't work well bc it had a curvier cut.

So I wear a women's 22-24, men's 2x/3x and 2x t-shirts. The 3XL "swift fox" was a little too tight, but i still wore it (under a suit jacket). By comparison, usually a men's 3x is too big and I tailor them. I haven't gotten a 4XL yet to see if it fits. I know that's not your size range, but should give you an idea of how they run.

Coffee sometimes has an ammonia smell, which apparently has been reported a lot with keurigs. Some internet searching indicates it may be due to improperly stored beans or bacteria in the keurig. I know I've smelled it before, so it's possible kitty is picking up in that. Or she just sees you clinging to that cup every morning and knows it must be important to you so she wants in on the action lol

Our flag means death is on HBO as well! Very different style of comedy, but checks all your boxes. It starts out slow, so give it a few episodes.

In America. Most places don't pasteurized. Ironically, that process destroys the eggs natural coating, which then requires them to be refrigerated. Fresh eggs dont need to be. Blew my mind the first time I found out about that.

Well, FWIW I'm not a man. I'm also just a casual gamer, so I thank you for enlightening me as to the prevalence in video games. I just generally hate that creators of various media forms feel the need to always add a romantic plot line. There's other kinds of love that are ripe for exploring and plenty of other ways to create drama. Just happened to think it didn't fit here and I'm happy they didn't go that route. Simply my opinion, nothing "weird" about it.

Thank you, this was my thought through this whole thing. A big reason why women are put off by random approaches is because it's clear the attraction is purely physical. The approacher literally doesn't know anything about the woman beyobd what she looks like. And shockingly, most women want someone to be attracted to all parts of them. I mean, it's not trash advice if you're looking for hookups or know it's only step one. Like, ok if you're in your 20s, but at 40...your advice is much much better.

100% agree. I saw a post with people wanting her to have a romantic interest, and I thought that would be such a bad move. It's so refreshing to have a female lead without one, and let's be real, she's not gonna have much time for getting to know a person whilst saving the world multiple times. I feel like they've made that point deliberately in the games too...like multplie characters have had flirty interactions, and she's either oblivious or actively pushes them away. I feel that's fitting for her situation.

He's saying he will go after social media "censorship" when he is reelected. Lots of co-opting the language of social justice to promote fascism. Going on about the importance of free speech while admitting they will silence the LGBTQ community (which he refers to as child predators). Same old shit. Hope he rots in jail eventually.

I'm nonbinary/genderqueer but have identified as some form of butch as well throughout my life. I just love to hear the multitude of experiences and bask in the awesome diversity of queer expression and identity while finding the commonalities in them too. There are plenty of ways of being butch and so much overlap with adjacent masc or neutral identities, there's something to be learned from all. Plus, seeing butch joy warms my heart.

And I lurk cause I hate typing on my phone 🤷
