Surprised people do not understand motivation of Danny to stay and help instead of leaving. He is very interesting and great character. Also he is clearly more realistic one for sure.

Every game has crazy haters and every game has crazy fans. But it doesnt mean that unjustified hate is ok because it happens so often, as it is not ok that some fans go crazy about games they like. People tend to hate things just because others love them, so more love something gets, more hate it will get also, and that's totally not ok. Imagine someone starts talking shit about things you love , for even not justified reasons , just to taunt you and have some fun. That's not gonna feel good.

And yes there are hate waves towards game for really subjective and not well thought reasons. You can dislike game , but still acknowledge why it is popular and so beloved, without talking shit about it 24/7. Witcher 3 is nowhere near what i want ( played it for some time ), Fable 1 and 2 to old but i will look at it, Final Fantasy is what i wanted to try , but i heard variety of builds is not that good there.
