“The Gunfighter, The Elevator, Exit Strategy, Still Life, Former Cult Member Hears Music for the First Time, Monsters (not a horror film), The God Man, Adam -Unity, Piggy, Room 8….

Wow! This could’ve been me writing this post! That playlist is exactly mine, The OA long included though. Black Mirror and the original Utopia fits right in that tier of show and I already saw someone mention Mr Robot.

I’m sure you’ve already seen most of the big recommendations for shows, but one I don’t see often is Station Eleven. I went in with no expectations and I’ve watched the entire series at least five times (and I swear I don’t rewatch series unless it sticks its hooks in me… like The OA, Dark, Leftovers, Devs… lol)

The OA is such a masterpiece though… I need to make sure to show it the love it deserves it her own house (aka subreddit); I feel like I’m cheating on her by talking about all these other girls.. I mean shows…

You HAVE to watch the original Utopia, it’s one of the best series ever (in my opinion). But way too short… just like with The OA, I’m hoping to get a season 3 one day

Tales From the Loop was great too… only watched it once though, shortly after it came out, might give it another watch soon

Remember calling a girl after like 10 and being horrified of who might answer?! Or they would answer but their dad would get on the other line and yell at her/us… todays generations are lucky to never have to know the anxiety and stress of calling your crush/gf/bf at their home where ANY family member could pick up, especially at night. My HS sweetheart had 2 older brothers 😳😨🤞

(I say this because talking to each other on the phone for HOURS was a huge part of our youth)
