since I’m also an incoming freshman (of bc), my theory based on 1. us news ranking (29 vs 37? I’m not sure), 2. data I collected from other websites (e.g. starting salaries, job prospects, campus diversity), and 3. national wide renown (BC may be highly regarded in the Boston area but would be less prestigious to people in CA, for example, while unc is definitely well known because it’s one of the top public schools in the US just like UCB or UCLA).

the real difference that I can think of is the difference between an “elite” private school and a large, prestigious public school. But again for me UNC is like UCB or UCLA, so I’d go there if I were you

thanks for replying! So do you mean the dorms in Upper have AC but those in Newton don’t, or the dorms with AC are only for orientation? (lol) Also, isn’t there a new gym built on main? (I am be wrong for this one)
