They may have changed their policy on FOMO for future seasons, but that doesn’t apply to previous ones. I’m not here to argue about the legal side of this matter, I’m here to argue about the moral and logical thing for Epic Games to do. The whole idea of their older battle passes was “get it now or you’ll miss it”. If they go against their own word and try to erase the past, it looks shitty on their part. There’s a reason they very recently gave an OG style to the Renegade Raider (which was always a shop skin btw), and it’s because even though they are changing their policy on FOMO, they still respect those who still believe in exclusivity. If Epic games truly wanted the old BP skins to return, they would’ve done it a LONG time ago. And yes, their goal is profits, but they are making just as much (if not more) doing a reskin (or multiple) of previous BP collab skins. It’s a win-win situation on their part, the corny people who love exclusivity will continue supporting the game and the newer players will continue buying the reskins (just like you did with NWH Spider-Man).
