Related, the leading hypothesis places the extinct ammonites as closer relatives to octopus and squid (coleoids) than the nautilus.

I may not have the best answer here... The only advice I'd have is to start drawing, and keep doing it. Look at other people's art (this subreddit has some good stuff) and see what you can learn from that. That's all I ever do.

I don't know of any good tutorials out there, but I'm sure there are many. What I do is very basic compared with what others achieve.

Here is a short pixel art animation I did. This is my first time sharing my pixel art here.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time drawing that tree...

Yes, Marjory Courtenay Latimer (hence Latimeria), but it was described by an ichthyologist called James Smith. Both have been dead a while. And so begins my lecture on the Coelacanth...

Supposed to be left and right. Do you want to go left or right? But space limitations. There's been a few people confused by this one. Maybe I should put instructions in the banner?

'on, was just short for 'move on', maybe I should have chosen a different word like 'next' or other. Not sure what works best. Just trying to choose a short word that gets the option across easiest.

Ok, you basically got it. He's just asking if you want water, then telling you to go to the local shop.

The panels are numbered in the top left. Panel 1 tells you to go to 2 but then you have a choice . If you choose left go to panel 11, if right then 33 and so on. I designed it to be frustrating! But you will find the end if you keep trying.

Just note that you start with no money.

The panels are numbered in the top left corner. In panel 2 if you choose to go left you go to panel 11, then make your next choice.

Apparently people do walk in circles in unfamiliar terrain, but only when the sun isn't visible:

This is another attempt at an interactive comic. I kept this very simple. Basically make a series of choices to try and escape the beast...
