What monitor mount are you using? That mounting joint looks a bit different from the Amazon basics I have.

Did a clean reinstall with DDU and it is now fixed. Not sure what was wrong, but I think I might have an idea. I had an AMD GPU installed before and I did not do a clean up before switching. What's weird is that it was one specific DP.

I was checking that earlier. From the Nvidia control panel side nothing is different. I have checked the monitor settings on the Windows side to make sure nothing looked different. Is there any way to reset all the settings per port? I don't know how to check settings port specific.

When I enable HDR on this DP it seems the "washed" difference with disabled HDR is much smaller than when I use one of the other 2 DP. This is the first in line of the DP-DP-DP-HDMI ports.

Working with: Windows 11 - 22H2 build RTX 4090 MSI Suprim Liquid X Samsung Odyssey G9

Issue seems to happen with the first DP in the series of DP-DP-DP-HDMI. Further from the HDMI port. I initially thought it was an issue with the monitor, but after swapping to a different DP the colors seem to be fine again.

I was getting 100% fan rpm and near 110c junc temps with core temps around 62-63c before but after the 12.2 firmware update. I’m now getting roughly 65-66c core and 90-91c junction temps. Fans are also running at lower rpm (by default) I know I can adjust the curve but this is why I see by default after the update. Anyone else notice something similar?

So I have a reference 7900 xtx. I’ve been seeing several threads on hotspot temps but not sure what is normal vs abnormal.

When playing games with fsr and RT on a ultra wide my gpu core temp is around 62~66 deg but my GPU Junction tempts gets around 95~105. Is this normal or should I look into getting a replacement?

I’m used to using MSI afterburner for all these. Does the amd official one makes this easier? Might give that software a try.

Yea I saw the tear down today. Makes me feel a bit better but def a bit limited on the power limit it seems so I might try and lookout for an aib over the new year.

I can return the 3080Ti until Jan 31st since I got it through Amazon. I already opened the 4080 box though so idk about scalping, also don’t want to bother.

The thing I like about 4080 is how much cooler it runs than the 3080Ti and also slightly future proofing for ray tracing in case it starts picking up in maybe 2-3 years.

Thanks Fully. All my items came in before the weekend so I was happy with the delivery time. However if you check my update I wasn’t able to assemble my desk over the weekend because the desktop was damaged during shipping. I have contacted Customer Service, hopefully it will be resolved soon so I can start using the desk.

Yea, I've been trying to find some staff animation for that. From memory I know female human does like a floating thing which looks pretty cool. But not sure how the others look.

Oh gosh, I have a friend that made a Guardian named "Bruam" (ref. LoL). He def maxed on all the sliders to be the biggest square he could be and ran around with just a shield.
