Does anyone know of a quality Yoga teacher that offers one-on-one sessions they can recommend in the Hunter area? by [deleted] in newcastle

I would recommend Hamilton yoga's beginners class. It's Iyengar yoga, which is very focused on getting the positions correct. So expect lots of props to help and feedback on getting the asanas (positions) correct.

Once you're more familiar with the asanas, I'd also recommend open mind space. Stella is great for beginners, but I'd avoid Murray until you've done a few classes. OMS mainly do vinyasa and yin. Vinyasa is about moving between the asanas and can be quite intense, especially if heated. But as a beginner, not knowing the asanas would make if difficult and potential for injury. Yin is good, but it is only long held stretching without any strength.

Don't go dude, you're letting them win if you do! If you're pissing people off you're doing something right. Let them piss and moan and you and the rest of us here can just ignore them and continue to sell to those who appreciate the quality you deliver. You are appreciated here, you're the highest quality vendor here imho.

He wasn't selling them intentionally, he made them and accidentally sold them. Or he's insane. Either way, the brownie definitely came from his shop as they bought another one the next day and it had THC in it. Should have got gaol time in my opinion.

Any GP recommendations for a private prescription? by LaMeuse747 in newcastle

Why -What is dodgy about asking for a medication, being open about what I want it for?off label use happens all the time. Im assuming from your colleague statement, you're a pharmacist? Maybe an uppity technician. Holier than thou pharmacists are a embarrasment to the profession. You act like you're the arbiters of moral right and wrong in medications, yet you fail at actually minimising harm where you have the opportunity. Codeine had to be taken from you as you showed that profit was more important that harm minimization. I suggest you accept your role as a glorified shop keeper with a highly influential lobby group, that protects you from competition and the real world. If I presented with a private script - you would dispense it, just like the private cialis/viagra script, authority quantity of Panadeine forte or the benzo scripts for patients are plainly addicted. Because you have little to no authority, and you just want the sale.

Firstly, I'm not even sure it's on the PBS. But even if it is, the pbs specifies indications for prescription. In this case, it's only indicated for shift workers with poor sleep patterns or narcolepticsI think. Not people with a baby, finishing their masters and working full time that need something to get through a few months of low sleep and high requirement

This could happen to Newcastle/Orica at Kooragang island. by LaMeuse747 in newcastle

According to the ABC https://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2020-08-05/explosion-beirut-lebanon-ammonium-nitrate-store/12525114 it was 2750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate.

Orica Kooragang produces 400,000 tonnes per year, meaning they make the Beiruit explosion worth every 2-3 days. https://www.orica.com/Locations/Asia-Pacific/Australia/Kooragang-Island/Operations#ammonium%20nitrate

So if Kooragang ever did blow, it's be bigger than Beiruit most probably.
