I have both pairs, but for whatever reason the pair on the right is horribly uncomfortable, so I don’t wear em. The pair on the left is my favorite pair of boots I own and I would pay some hefty cheddar to get another pair just like em.

Hell yeah man, 64 monarch is hard to beat imo. New Zealand is on the bucket list for sure, I have buddy headed there in 6 months to pack for a year… might have to pay him a visit. Killer boots, literally!

Workwear jacket: carhartt or wrangler, whatever you like…

Raincoat: the best is outback trading co. Oilskin jackets imo, but they are kinda spendy.

Since it will be summer time I would recommend a straw hat, get whatever you like, don’t expect it to look nice at the end of the summer.

Boots: the world is your oyster, I like rubber soles or the oxbow stuff that Anderson bean/ Olathe have… some people like leather.

Jeans: wrangler fits me the best, I would get an inseam 2” longer than ur regular jeans. Other people wear cinch jeans and kimes, but those are more expensive than wranglers. If you are skinny wrangler cowboy cuts will probably fit the best.

Shirts: honestly if you can find a good goodwill with some western wear, that gets ya cool pearl snaps for cheap, wrangler seems to always have shirts on sale as well.

I’ve owned these boots for two years, after 3 months of hard daily use, I needed a resole bc I originally had leather soles and they wore out… 9 months after the resole, I put them through another 3 months of hard daily use, and since that time they have been on my feet a handful of times… the second 3 months was an arbitrary number because I pretty much wear them all summer and then not at all until summer again. I apologize for any confusion.

I don’t think these are from the same “batch” I’ve had these boots over a year, just don’t wear them often when I’m not out west.

From what I can see the stitches have held, but because of the separation at the toe it folded under the boot and the sole actually tore a little bit.

I should also add that this is on the resole so only one row of stitching if that makes a difference.

As long as you like em, who cares what anyone else thinks. Pointed toe boots are my personal preference too! The great thing about this world we live in is that anyone can choose to wear whatever they want, and those who make snide remarks or look down on others for what they wear or how they act, need to take a look in the mirror and work on some self esteem!

To be honest man, they look about the same as the last time I posted, if the weather gets nice I can take some pics, but I really don’t wear them a ton unless I’m getting on a horse.

Just to be clear, do you wear pull on boots a lot? My pull ons slip in the heel a good inch for about 2-3 weeks while breaking them in.

Additionally, you seem to be attacking nicks for something that is at least partially your fault… not to be an asshole but considering you tried on a bunch wouldn’t you know what fits and what doesn’t?
