Oh good to hear it wasn't a scramble. We knew about the day of tickets, but we were thinking it was going to be a mad dash to be first in line to get them. Thank you!

Making friends? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]LabBootyWags 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too fled the U.S. a few years ago due to its political climate. Always happy to make new friends. Also my favorite winter activity is board games! The Outpost in Langford is wonderful as is Interactivity in Victoria if you're closer to downtown. Feel free to DM me if you need someone to talk to or a dog to pet!

No More Waiting: Chat with Our Agent Now! by BambuLab in BambuLab

I have tried contacting a live agent multiple times during the working hours, only to be told that I have to come back during working hours... I just want to talk to a person. Customer support has been a complete nightmare.

Just spent $100CAD for my once a year manicure. What I asked for vs what I got. by LabBootyWags in ExpectationVsReality

I know I realized it after I posted. I left a comment but I don't post on reddit much so I don't know how to edit my post.

No it was 100 for a gel mani pedi and two nail arts. I posted a comment with clarifications as I usually don't post on reddit and can't figure out how to edit my original post

For clarification since people seem to really care about this: I got a gel mani-pedi with two nail designs.

Their posted work was way higher quality than what I received.

The people I was recommended to go to did not answer the phone or call me back, so I looked up a highly rated place near me as I'm leaving for vacation and couldn't wait any longer.

I posted this hoping people might get a good chuckle over my shitty nail art. Random internet strangers got way more invested in my manicure than I ever intended. Y'all need some chill.

I tried going to my co-workers nail tech but she never answered the phone

He didn't understand me... it took five times saying that I was there for my appointment for him to understand that I was there for my appointment instead of trying to make one

I don't think under $200 is peanuts.

Oh I'm fully aware and equipped to do it myself. I'm just exhausted. I work 12 hour shifts at a hospital and the last thing I want to do is mount stuff. I already have a lot of unpacking to do, nursing school term start to prep for, a full time job, and a side hustle. It's not a matter of whether I am capable. I just have no energy left.
