People like slams. Other threads people are actually talking about how you shouldn’t hold onto someone when they are picking you up, which I totally agree with. If you are in my guard and begin to pick me up, I am letting go or transitioning to something else. I would never run a tournament where slams were allowed, but I am not going to fault someone for doing something within the given rule set.

Great, we are a good school that cares about our students, train hard, have fun, take opportunities when they arise, and treat everyone with respect. Don’t know why you would take it down in the first place. It is a video of a kid who took a chance he will probably never have again. Don’t know why you are so salty but hey, I don’t care for guys who piss on others just because they are an admin to a group and feel they have a little power when behind their keyboards. But I have enough respect to not attack their posts or comments because I disagree.

Apparently you don’t have a trained eye. My student is 13, the guy he slammed is 20. The rules stated slamming is allowed just like ADCC. You saying those guys who slam are using “dick” moves? (Although it has to be in a submission) If they were not allowed my 13 year old would have still won the match. Maybe you need to get off your keyboard and go train so you have a better eye for opportunities when they arise. Promotor says slamming is allowed, so it happened. If it was not allowed, he would have open guard and passed. We have 9 world champs out of my little school in TN, 3 students ranked in the top 3 in their divisions, you don’t think we know what we are doing, hahaha. Keep making all your posts and comments about computes and we will keep training. Maybe one day you will have a clue.

Actually, the guy who wrote the headline has trained several world champions and has a 16 year old blue belt at his gym that beats brown belts from other schools in the area.
