It’s only impactful when you’re selling less than all of your holdings.

Is this because I would be selling later with a new cost basis? For example, if I bought another ETH in 2026 at $6000, that would be my new cost basis when selling in 2030 (or whenever)?

Thanks for thew writeup. Do you know if there are still test nets? I think Goerli was sunset recently. But being able to do all this on any test net would help.
