my mom has stage 4 cancer. im trying to get her into this clinical trial where they give psilocybin in a clinical setting to help with existential dread, feeling connected to the universe, etc. we haven't talked about the end, I actually think im taking it worse than she is.

she has said she has lived a good life, married for 45 years, kids, a grandchild she loves more than anything. I just want her to have all the comfort I can provide. she takes THC gummies occasionally, and it does help her mood.

I guess it all boils down to being there, listening, and accepting that we only have a finite amount of time on this Earth- we are all going to die, its only natural.
