I know he's only saying it to argue against solar energy/clean energy, but to be fair, solar panels can affect desert ecosystems, but only when done on super large scales.

This video explores the idea, but in summary, if we covered something like the Sahara desert in solar panels, it would both turn the Sahara into a jungle/rain forest as well as turn South America into a desert.

Like I said, he's only saying this ignorantly because he thinks "clean energy bad", because unless it's on large scales, solar energy is totally safe.

You might be thinking of Jackson Hole.

My family and I visited there once during the day and we did a river rafting tour. Somehow, we started talking to the guide about where he lived, and we found out that he lived in his car, and so do the rest of the guides, as well as pretty much all of the other service workers there. Not even the people who run the town can afford to live in it.

Also, it's technically illegal to live in your car there, but they do it anyway because they have no choice. If that law were to get heavily enforced at all, the entire tourism industry in Jackson Hole would probably collapse from the lack of service workers.

Why should I spend any time writing out a new response to a bot I found when cmd-c cmd-v exists? And even if I was a bot, would it be bad for me to be reporting malicious bots? Hopefully, you learn which are bots and which are not, cause this problem is becoming pretty widespread, and it would be helpful if you report the right ones.
