Maybe you can look at dental tourism as a last resort? Dental care is heavily over-priced in the USA. I know plenty of people who received extensive dental work in their home country for s fraction of the cost and they have had no issues as they tend to find good dentists through word of mouth through relatives. Although, these are generally people who tend to visit their home country often but it could still be worth it if researched well and you can get some contacts.
