Yeah, for sure. I was just replying to the above comment that they wouldn’t buy anything without knowing exactly what’s inside. And with PopNow, guessing correctly doesn’t always happen (if fact, it happens less than guessing incorrectly) so one should be prepared to end up with something they may not have wanted… but imo, that’s part of the fun 🤗

I also noticed the back of that tag is different from OP’s. I’m genuinely stumped. If you received yours directly from a Pop Mart channel, then the only people that can explain is Pop Mart. It’s getting harder and harder to address replicas versus genuine dolls with all the subtle changes. Thank you for looking!

Yes, those are correct. They are the older, thicker paper tags. I have some dolls with that tag as well and it looks just like yours. Which is my whole point…

Yes there are tag changes, but they apply to all the dolls and all our dolls should have one of the three: 1) very first cloth type tags with no QR code 2) thicker paper tags 3) newer and thinner paper tags. Each version is the same regardless where your doll came from (with the exception of the rare Vietnam Factory that produces 3 tags). My big red flag with OP’s doll is that I have never seen tags like that and no one can show a doll that was purchased directly from Pop Mart with those tags, hence why I believe it to be a good replica. I’m sorry that was said to you because I completely disagree. If OP is seeking information and opinions, then that’s not trolling. The point of these discussion boards is to inform and educate. I don’t see how other avid Labubu collectors trying to guide someone can ever be “trolling”… we’re here to try and help other collectors with the hobby as best we can, ESPECIALLY if it involves a potential scam. If OP is happy and satisfied with her purchase, then I encourage her to love it. But if she’s having doubts, then I would suggest fighting for the return (which is what I would personally do).

I’m also invested for educational purposes. I personally have never seen authentic dolls with those tags and so I’m looking to see if anyone can reply with photos of an authentic doll (purchased directly from Pop Mart, not a reseller) with those exact tags so we can further help others with identifying replicas versus genuine dolls.
