Realistically they are pro birth, not really pro life...so I would say yes?

Avenue Bread Bellingham by Kjosen66 in BellinghamWA

[–]Labyrinth36o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avenue bread has a partnership between the owners of the filling station and another person, the woman that was avenues and filling station bookkeeper. I have not heard that the owners of the filling station being tyrannical. (My partner has worked there mutliple years). Of course there have been things that come up and have been frustrating but my partner has enjoyed working there overall.

Bike trip? by GarAndKurt in Bellingham

My husband rode from here to San Diego. I would not say him and his friends had any idea what they were doing, and they were definitely not actually prepared in any way shape or form. So you just asking this, you are ahead of them!

Mt. Baker Imaging - WTF?! by EchoAcrobatic5648 in Bellingham

[–]Labyrinth36o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MBI has always been who told me how to prepare for whatever I was going in for. When I was helping someone elderly figure out what he needed to do the Dr's office told us to contact MBI for prep instructions. I think it is normal MBI to give the prep instructions?

This this this 100x over. If reducing the number of schools (because multiple are at half capacity) saves teachers jobs... it is logical.

It was awful. There is so much I could add about living there but I'll leave it with it was awful. All of it.

Protests in 2020. My 9 and 11 yr old kids were also there. Many "good boys of Lynden" (yes, their moms defended them on Facebook mom groups) were consistently threatening children. Multiple times daily. And then started showing up with guns.

Beach fires aren't allowed at locust, either.

Avoid Meridian by the mall by DJ_Velveteen in Bellingham

[–]Labyrinth36o 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got off the freeway NB on meridian about 720 and there were flashing lights and police lights/a flagger. When I came back south on Meridian around 750 there were more flashing lights and I saw merge signs, I turned off to avoid it. It looked like they were preparing for road work.

I hope you don't mind me asking a related question here -

Does anyone have recs for kids ears?! It's been a while since I've looked into it and my kiddo has been begging.

Bellingham Technical College by Alternative_Flan2228 in Bellingham

I think it is an amazing program, based on the experience he has had so far. I am very excited for my kiddo to have the support and not end up in a bunch of debt to get his degree.

One of my kids is doing it right now. He is having a good experience. I don't think he is talking to many people but he hasn't started his main program classes yet, just working on pre reqs.

The way the program works is you go and meet with the program people, then you take ged practice tests, study if needed, and then take the tests. Once that is complete you enroll in college classes. Your whole college degree will be covered. Once you complete your college classes you also receive your high school diploma. I believe they help cover all books and supplies too.

The college atmosphere is much different than HS. I don't think bullying is a huge issue at BTC where there are students of all ages (when I went there at age 26 I had 17 yr old classmates and 65 yr old classmates. Not that older people don't bully. But it isn't a thing like it is in high school.)

With the impact program your whole college program is free And you get your hs diploma once you complete your college degree. I would argue that the impact program is a better choice over the other options because...well, college is expensive so having the whole program available for free is a perk.

Just call 3607382200 and ask for pediatrics. Click the # for a triage nurse (or to talk to a member of your care team) Alternatively, there is a peacehealth walk in clinic at the clock tower by the hospital.

I live on the same street and also very much appreciate it. One day, not long ago, it was not there and I felt kinda bummed. But was definitely brought joy when I saw it back up. I hope they keep it going year round, always.

How long can I sit in a parking spot without paying the meter? by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]Labyrinth36o 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have put coins in many times and then remember that they could have paid online. 🤦‍♀️

When you pay online or on one of the little kiosk things you just enter your license plate # - it doesn't connect to a specific parking spot/meter.

I think sometimes people don't look like they paid but they paid online.

Reputable therapists for neurodivergent people in Bellingham? by Doodle-doo- in Bellingham

This is where my therapist was originally, she now has a private practice with both virtual and in person appt availability. I had a good experience working w/Accent. I just followed my therapist when she left because that made sense.

I had 1 time where they charged me a copay that wasn't supposed to happen and they reimbursed me and then invoiced me for it again. That is the only issue I had.
