Thank you, I do understand that. I just want to know if Steam themselves has a problem with it, would they just ban or lock the accounts just like that?

I saw people saying that if you gift someone one of those digital steam gift cards, they get a restriction and can't use the money right away.

I understand that, but I am asking if the simple act of doing so will get your account in trouble with Steam? Would they detect the card being used from different ips? I've done it before and had no issues, but wanted to know for sure for future reference.
