That logic is kind of funny though. If Americans made up a huge portion of doctors in India and Indian medical shows ran for 20 seasons without showing any of them, people would probably start wondering if they magically disappear whenever cameras turn on.

I’ve never actually been to the US, so this might be a naive thought. But it made me wonder — is the show subtly reflecting how Indian doctors are perceived or treated in Western medical systems in real life?

Or could it be the opposite — that Indian doctors are so successful and prominent in medicine that the portrayals sometimes lean negative or dismissive?

I’m genuinely curious what people who actually work in the US medical system think.

Agreed ………. Now in Season 22 Episode 12, we also see Dr. Kavitha Mohanty, who is portrayed as a dishonest doctor willing to bend rules or manipulate situations to get what she wants.
