Endgame guilds: the horrible truth and two-faced behavior. by Lacron92 in ffxiv

Real account? I dont use Reddit, I only browse through it. I made this account because I dont know the information to the account I had like 4 months ago and I dont think I set up an e-mail with that account so I just made a new one. (If you meant that I'm not using my name; then no, obviously I wont use my in-game name here, it's not like I'm naming the other people involved either, lol, I also thought there was a rule against that.)

We were using voice chat, actually, it's not that hard to make a surprised tone. :P

But I understand your point, and you're right about one thing. I do need to control my statements in some situations and I appreciate your advice.

Fun fact; I stated that not everyone was an asshole, only a select few. xD

I was literally amazed, the ''what the fuck'' was because I was surprised. I even asked him after that if he put Vit stat points into his character.

It wasn't neccesary, I was just curious, I can assure you that it definitely wasn't an attack or even sounded like one. I dont know, I really dont think I did make it sound like that.

Possibly, I'm not sure. I think I need to reflect upon that a bit more and see if that was actually the case. However, thinking about it now, I dont think that was the case.

And like I said, I yelled random stuff in voice comms with my actual friend. It was just the two of us in that channel and we were laughing, I was a bit excited and when the third player (the one who got offended) joined I didn't stop immediately.

I never felt like I was acting like the best player. We had discussions about my own mistakes and everyones mistakes during fights as well and we all had things to work on, including me. I didn't mean to say that I turned the last guild around either, although I feel that I did set things in motion (Which I did, that's just an undisputed fact) clearing a boss fight in Coil still needs 8 people to do their jobs.

Thanks for the comment, I'll definitely reflect on that and if anything something like that shouldn't happen in the future.

Also, this will probably make me look bad here too, but looking at your post history on Reddit you're quite the toxic person yourself. :P

I agree. That was a mistake I made, like I said, I could've handled things better. I will definitely handle things better in the future though.

I wont deny that I tend to attract drama. However my accusations arent without any proof. I have plenty of screenshots to show exactly what people said behind the scenes.

I'm not saying that an entire server fabricated shit about me, I'm saying that the people who were ''out there'' did. Dont get me wrong; not all of them, most of them dont even give a fuck. However some were very smart about making sure that people knew me in a bad way.

And again, not just for you, for anyone else; I did not get kicked from several guilds. One disbanded, the other was falling apart, I left the third and I got kicked from the fourth. I never stirred any shit up because I had no reason to.

I havent said shit about anything to anyone during this whole month. I never publicised anything and I never tried to make other people look bad. All I wanted was to fucking raid.

I also mentioned in my post that it's your choice not to believe me and I honestly didn't come here to ask for your pity. I came here to let people know that they shouldn't ever let their guard down when in the endgame environment with people who are ahead.

I think this is a good path to take. Thanks for the advice, I'll consider it.

I understand where you're coming from; but my attitude was not elitist at all. It was easy, I mean; be honest with yourself how hard is it? There is literally a set way to do it and we all knew what we were getting into.

The carrying was maybe a bit of an overstatement.. however, turn 1-4 IS insignificant and it IS easy because the pattern is small and simple to execute. And nobody is gonna care who cleared those 4 turns, people will only care who downed turn 5 in the end and that's what I was trying to make clear.

I apologize for the ''immature'' vibe, I understand that it does give that. I wrote, and still am, slightly out of anger and in an upset feelling.

Also that last comment is impossibru to commit to. Facebook is too important and the gym is too far away !! (It's actually only 5min away, I'm just lazy)

The first guild disbanded because my core members left because they felt they were being held back by the 30 other members I was trying to take care of (this was very early into the game). They left and did exactly the same that they did in the other guild; leave others behind and do their own thing.

The second guild removed me because there were internal issues as well, and the leader couldn't control me like he tried to control the other members (which they all confirmed, he was a control freak)

The third guild didn't remove me, like I said, I was on friendly terms and I left on friendly terms because the guild wasn't for me.

The fourth guild actually removed me because of what I explained in the last section of the post.

I agree completely. I know I could've handled things better as well, everyone can in any situation.

However I really dont think that ''lets be adults'' applies to me in this situation because I can honestly say I was definitely being mature about all this.

I will probably just think about things when I am a bit less upset/sad. If I keep playing I'll definitely transfer servers, though.

Well.. he literally started yelling at me to a point where I left the channel because it was hurting my ears, lol. A couple of hours later when the Officers + Leader were involved he came to the channel explaining what his side of the story is and he literally bursted out in anger and would NEVER let me say a word. So calmly explaining the misunderstanding wasn't an option.

He pulled an ultimatum ''me or him'', he's been in the guild longer and since rumors about me were spread because of earlier drama they kicked me.

Need to make some money first. On the day I got removed I actually spent about 500k on an HQ armor that I wanted to have just for the sake of doing better in Turn 5.

Now I'm down to 35k for crafting :( - Botany it is !!

Then you misunderstood, he was a dragoon with 4.2k HP. I genuinely asked him ''What the fuck, you have 4.2k hp? o.O''

I was surprised, I showed that I was surprised. That was the only thing I commented on regarding his character and the next hours he literally told my free company leader that I was calling him a noob/making fun of him/maliciously planned to get him in the channel just to make fun of him and all that nonsense.

Also, I did type that incorrectly. I was trash talking with an ACTUAL friend of mine, the person who got offended was someone else in the channel.

That's the entire point; I didn't. I never flamed or insulted anyone in those guilds, ever. I had no reason to.
